For the 74th week of "7 QUESTION SUNDAY" we shine the spotlight on another influential individual from the PNW. Jen Gustin is the owner of Boss Mama’s Kitchen Food Truck a popular Puget Sound mobile eatery!

4EVRGRN: Hey, JG! Tell us a little about yourself.

JG: I grew up in Tacoma and I am a local here. I've lived in Pierce County my whole life. While we love doing events in the community, we love doing private parties, meeting new people, and having a good time doing it. If there is a party, we want to be there and party with you. I left my corporate job to start Boss Mama's Kitchen. I wanted to bring back that good old-fashioned burger, and grilled cheese experience that we had when we were kids. Here, we focus on bringing the best possible experience to our customers.

1) What inspired your menu?

I wanted there to be a place for people to go, to get the good old-fashioned burgers, grilled cheese and all-around comfort gooeyness, that you can’t always find anymore.

2) Where is the best place to escape to in the PNW?

One of my favorite spots is Mt. Rainier National Park. The drive up is always nice…. plenty of stops on the way, especially for pie at Copper Creek!

3) What’s your favorite part of owning a business in the PNW?

The people, the weather, and the variety of locations…. our customers are fantastic! The PNW is such a melting pot. There are people from all walks of life. We actually have 4 seasons. Not many places can say that, and we are mobile, so we get to go to different locations all the time, which is change of scenery, consistently!

4) Favorite PNW activity?

We’re huge sports fans in our house……we’ve been Seahawks Season ticket holders since 1999 – so definitely Football! We love the outdoors and taking a ride down a country backroad and fishing…definitely fishing. We’re also home bodies and we like to try new recipes after grabbing some local produce from one of our favorite stores. My team and I are foodies, and we also love checking out new places, and supporting our peers!

5) One thing you want the world to know about the PNW?

It doesn’t rain every day, like people think!

6) Best local product?

That’s a tough one because there are so many great things…..but I would say Beecher’s Cheese! I LOVE BEECHERS!

7) What dish must be tried by first time visitors to your food truck?

The Elvis Burger or The B&B Grilled Cheese!

It’s hard to follow the scent sometimes so keep up with Boss Mama’s Kitchen locations on their IG and FB @bossmamaskitchen and book your event on their website www.bossmamaskitchen.com but most importantly, don’t forget our invite!
