Caitlin Blaske

For the 59th week of "7 QUESTION SUNDAY" we shine the spotlight on an individual who loves to travel and wants to show you the world! This is Saturday Macrame!

4EVRGRN: Hey SM, tell us a little about yourself.

SM: Hi, my name is Caitlyn and I am the owner and creator of Saturday Macrame. What started as a love for the fiber art, snowballed into having too many pieces being made without enough wall space to hang them and deciding to sell some. That was when Saturday macrame was born. Now I create beautiful and unique pieces and sell them part time from my Etsy and social media’s.

4EG: Favorite PNW activity?

SM: My favorite activity would be either hiking our beautiful mountains or riding my horses in our great outdoors.

4EG: Best local product?

SM: Any farmers market blueberries!

4EG: Favorite local artist (Music/Painter)?

SM: My husband introduced me to a band called Osatia, they started in Lynden, WA.

4EG: Best PNW childhood memory?

SM: Swinging in the rain pretending I could fly.

4EG: Favorite PNW season?

SM: Winter! I love the snow.

4EG: Wildest PNW experience?

SM: Having sunshine, rainbows, rain, and thunder all at once.

4EG: Best misconception you’ve heard about the PNW?

SM: That Seattlites have learned to repel water from all the rain.

We wish Caitlyn the very best in her future endeavors with Saturday Macrame! You can find them at IG: @Saturday_macrame, Facebook: Saturday Macrame, Tiktok: SaturdayMacrame, and shop their Etsy: https://etsy.me/2Z0Som2
