Chef Michael Mason

For the 65th week of "7 QUESTION SUNDAY" we shine the spotlight on another Black owned business from the PNW. Get to know Chef Mason and the family behind some of the PNW’s favorite cheesecakes!

4EVRGRN: Hey, CM! Tell us a little about yourself.

CM: My name is Chef Mason; I've been a Chef and in the culinary field for over 30 years. I'm a graduate of the Renton Technical college culinary arts program and currently serve on the culinary advisory board. I started Mason's Cheesecake Co over 10 years ago in 2010. We've created a uniquely rich, and decadent cheesecake with distinctive flavors that set the bar for cheesecake excellence. Mason's Cheesecake Co is a black owned family business that likes to continue the classically made cheesecake processes but adds fusions of flavors to expand on the possibilities. From our cream cheese based custards, graham cracker crust to our signature cream Cheesecake frosting and garnishes. We even offer a separate Vegan line of cheesecakes that are all gluten free, dairy free, and soy free. Every cheesecake has a story let ours tell yours.
