Chris Aldridge

For the 128th week of "7 QUESTION SUNDAY" we shine the spotlight on another influential individual from the PNW. Chris Aldridge is the owner of Auto Auction Buyers Club a way for everyday consumers to purchase vehicles are the best prices without all the hassle.

4EVRGRN: Hey, CA! Tell us a little about yourselves.

CA: I am the owner of Auto Auction Buyers Club, Auto Sales and Wholesale Broker, Chris Aldridge. I was born and raised in the Northwest and am proud to call it home. My business exists, because Car Buyers need someone on their side... there's just too many dealerships that take advantage of the industry, something I refuse to do.

I am completely transparent and refuse to sell a vehicle I wouldn't put my own friends or family members into. My company has nothing but five-star reviews from many satisfied customers, and I plan to keep it that way. I appreciate the communities support and look forward to serving the Northwest for years to come.

What's the benefit of joining Auto Auction Buyers Club?

CA: If we don't have what you’re looking for in stock, joining gives you access to the wholesale market that other dealerships don't want you to know about. We find a vehicle that fits your needs, and budget, then charge a flat 1000$ over our cost. Its completely transparent. We basically act as a real-estate agent, representing our buyers, for Cars. Also, we offer discounts on parts and labor when you do need them, for our members.

What can someone who has never purchased a car at auction expect?

CA: The beauty of this program is you don't attend the auctions. We do it for you. I'll pull up recent pricing reports of what vehicles are selling for at the auction, where other dealers are stocking their own lots at, to help guide you towards a good purchase. Once we find something you like, and can afford, I take care of the bidding process and paperwork; a process I've been part of for over 20 years and thousands of purchases. I represent our members, for ease of transactions and peace of mind.

Is it only cars you sell or are their parts and service options included in the membership?

CA: We provide discounts on parts, and Labor as well. Usually, we can get parts to you at about 15-25%, and sometime more, under retail pricing. We have a master ase certified technician that can do your labor for less than other shops, or you can even rent a service bay from our friend’s company (Self Serve Garage), and work on your own vehicles to save even more money.

Most popular vehicle in the PNW?

CA: I've found that Subaru's are extremely popular in our area, they have the reliability of the Toyota brand (sharing a parent company, Fuji Heavy Industries); in an all-wheel drive option, and high resale value. It's a brand that seems synonymous with the Northwest image.

What makes PNW car culture unique?

CA: The people in our market are very unique... they are knowledgeable and do their research and have a knack for getting the most out of their resources. Our car culture, if you will; is that of folks seeking value, a fair deal, and honest person to work with.

Favorite place to cruise in the PNW?

CA: There are so many choices! That's another thing that's ideal about our area. From the coastal highways to the San Juan Islands and ferry systems, to the mountains, and out to the eastern parts of the state there's limitless travel opportunities. Which is why our northwest drivers count on having some great, reliable, and multi-functional vehicles at their disposal to best enjoy every part of the regain we all call home.

What is something you wish every PNW car owner would do to protect their vehicles?

CA: Having a reliable and trustworthy auto technician, is imperative to maintaining the value and usability of our vehicles. Take care of them and do the scheduled maintenance when it's due rather than putting things off until it costs a LOT more to fix, and our vehicles will in turn take care of us.
