For the 81st week of "7 QUESTION SUNDAY" we shine the spotlight on another influential individual from the PNW. Jordan Callaghan is changing the way locals think about BBQ one drool worthy picture at a time.

4EVRGRN: Hey Jordan, tell us a little about yourself.

JC: Hi! My name is Jordan C, born and raised in Tacoma, WA. I would consider myself a backyard BBQ enthusiast. It all started with buying my first Traeger Grill almost 2 years ago. I began being inspired by other BBQ accounts on Instagram and I wanted to do the same, that summer my journey began as  PNW_Traeger! 

1. What's the best dish you’ve made with your Traeger? 

JC: That’s a tough one! I would say the reverse seared bone-in prime rib roast.. or my first “successful” brisket. 

2. What do you enjoy most about smoking in the PNW?
JC: The vast variety of meats available is awesome as well as the BBQ community here in the PNW. 

3. How do the seasons impact what you cook?
JC: It depends on what flavor profile I’m wanting to go with, during the spring/summer I love fresh flavors while in the winter I prefer more savory and comforting. Rain or shine, Traeger on! 

4. Is there anything people of the PNW do that you refuse to? 
JC: Carry an umbrella!

5.  Favorite place to escape in the PNW?
JC: The woods or mountains for sure. 

6. How did you get into smoking?
JC: My grandpa gave me my first smoker (a little chief electric style) and taught me how to make jerky with it when I was in high school, after that I bought a larger smoker and eventually moved onto Traeger for the versatility and convenience! They are awesome grills. I have 3! 

7. When you’re not cooking, what is your favorite local restaurant?
JC: I’m a huge fan of Farrelli's (pizza) as well as Apple Teriyaki!
