For the 67th week of "7 QUESTION SUNDAY" we shine the spotlight on another influential individual from the PNW. Known as “The hardest working woman in Blues, Soul, Funk, & Gospel”, Lady A is a blues singer and A Host DJ on NWCZ online Radio of Lady A’s Black N Blues on Saturday’s and Lady A’s Gumbo & Gospel on Sunday mornings along with KMRE FM 102.3 Radio in Bellingham, Washington ~ Lady A’s The Boss - Blues show.
4EVRGRN: Hey, Lady A! Tell us a little about yourself.
LA: I am always working towards making a better community, I produce The Big Blues Blowout, The Annual Red N White Holiday Affair where we bring awareness to homelessness in the Seattle and donates back to Shelters in the area; the 4th Annual Ladies Luncheon which she hosted this year via Zoom which benefits the Rhapsody Music Project for Youth in Seattle where she mentors young artist. I’m a Race and Social justice activist in my community. I’m currently working on another New Single which will premier soon and finishing a new CD Project for 2021.

1) What do you miss when you’re outside the PNW?
LA: The Mountains and hills
2) Favorite PNW meal?
LA: Mama Stortini's Spaghetti and Cobb Salad
3) How has the PNW music landscape changed since you first started?
LA: We no longer have a City skyline from the top of Beacon Hill, there are way too many apartment buildings and no real music venues anymore.
4) What’s an unusual fact you know about the PNW?
LA: That I actually learned to drive in the parking lot of Sick's Baseball Stadium ( which is now a Lowes on Rainier Avenue), and going to Duwamish Drive in Theater on Saturday's was a treat for us
5) Where is a place anyone visiting the PNW must see?
LA: Snoqualmie Falls
6) First thing you do when you come back to the PNW after a tour?
LA: Order Pizza, take a 30 min shower, climb into my own bed and let Netflix watch me
7) Favorite place to play music in the PNW?
LA: Egan's Ballard Jam House - after I've been on tour or playing to thousands of people I like the idea of coming home and doing my Lady A's Back Porch Blues show so that I can tell stories through music about my journey's and interact personally with my audience.
